Hi, I’m Amber and I’ve pretty much built my entire career around understanding people.

I bartended my way through college, and it turned out to be the best crash course in human behavior I could have asked for. I learned how to listen, observe, and figure out what people really need. I also mastered multitasking while everything is on fire and how to still keep a smile on my face.

After that, I went into social work because I’ve always cared deeply about helping people. But honestly, it was heavy. I had a hard time turning it off after work, and I realized I needed to find a path that still let me connect with people, just in a way that felt a little lighter and more sustainable.

Those experiences taught me something powerful: every story matters, and connection is EVERYTHING.

That’s what led me to recruiting. It’s the perfect mix of strategy and heart. I help businesses find the right people, not just on paper, but in culture, mindset, and values. And for job seekers, I help translate who they are into resumes and LinkedIn profiles that truly reflect their strengths.

Over the years, I’ve learned that great hiring isn’t just about resumes and job descriptions. It’s about clarity, communication, and genuine connection. When those things come together, everything else falls into place. I started my business because I wanted to make hiring feel more human, built on honesty, respect, and a real understanding of what makes people tick. Finding the right hire doesn’t just strengthen a business; it can completely change someone’s life.

Today, through my company, I help small businesses hire smarter and more intentionally, and I help job seekers show up confidently in their careers. It’s meaningful work, and I love being part of those moments when the right people find each other.

Because at the end of the day, that’s what this is all about: people finding the right fit in work, in culture, in purpose. People are the heartbeat of every business, and helping them connect is what I do best.

Kendall has spent nearly a decade leading teams and shaping organizations across start-ups, nonprofits, and small businesses. With experience spanning multiple management roles and more than four years in the C-suite, she brings a rare blend of people-first leadership and strategic, operational depth. Her work has centered on building scalable systems, developing processes that actually serve teams, and designing retention and growth programs that create real, lasting impact.

Kendall’s recruiting roots go back to working alongside Amber Haag, where she learned what it truly means to recruit with integrity: people first approach. That early mentorship set the tone for her entire career;

One built on empathy, honesty, and a deep respect for both clients and candidates. Over the years, their professional paths kept crossing, reaffirming what Kendall already knew: the best work happens when you’re aligned with the right people. So when Amber launched Talent Stacked, joining her wasn’t a question, but it was a full-body yes.


Kendall leads with heart, grounding every decision in care, clarity, and long-term strategy. She understands the business behind great hiring, but more importantly, she understands the humans behind it. Her mission is simple: help companies build teams that thrive and help people find roles where they can do the same.
